Natural skin contains variations in tone and undertone. Pigment therefore needs to be customized for the individual client rather than selected from a predetermined “flesh-colored” shade.
Color matching also requires consideration of how pigment may appear after it has been implanted and fully healed, not simply how the pigment looks before treatment.

Can Stretch Mark Camouflage Improve Texture?
Pigment camouflage primarily addresses differences in color.
Tattoo pigment cannot remove stretch marks or completely correct significant differences in texture. Deep or indented stretch marks may continue to catch light differently from the surrounding skin even after their color contrast has been reduced.

Stretch Mark Camouflage Healing & Aftercare
Immediately following treatment, the area may appear red, darker, warmer, or more noticeable than expected.
The appearance immediately after treatment is not the final healed result.
As the skin heals, both the treated area and implanted pigment will change. The pigment must be allowed adequate time to settle before the color and retention can be accurately evaluated.
Detailed aftercare instructions are provided following your appointment. During healing, it is important to protect the area from unnecessary irritation, picking, scratching, excessive moisture, and sun exposure.
Avoid swimming, soaking, hot tubs, and other activities specifically restricted in your individual aftercare instructions until the area has sufficiently healed.
How Long Does Stretch Mark Camouflage Last?
Stretch mark camouflage pigment can remain in the skin for years, but its appearance may gradually change over time.
Longevity can be influenced by:

What Happens to Stretch Mark Camouflage When You Tan?
Natural skin can become darker with sun exposure, while implanted tattoo pigment does not tan in the same way.
Because stretch mark camouflage is matched to your natural skin tone, significant tanning can temporarily create more contrast between treated stretch marks and the surrounding skin. As the tan fades, the appearance may become more balanced again.
For this reason, treatment should be performed when your skin is as close as possible to its natural, untanned color.

Can I Have Stretch Mark Camouflage While Pregnant or Breastfeeding?
